Cyclone Systems are kindly sponsoring the web site for this project, the domain name has been purchased - andybanks.org and the `space' behind it is being built to accommodate the pages we wish to showcase. The primary reason for this journey I am undertaking with the help of mutual friends is to celebrate the creative and amazing full life of Andy, he was an extremely talented and kind gentleman, he could set his mind to any task and have the skills to fulfill them, a sculptor, fine artist and multi instrumentalist.

We have been looking at word press templates and I think we have the one to suit this project, Cyclone Systems do your magic!

Thank you!

  1. Andy Banks was a true creative, he described his creativity in all his work and was diverse in his creations for many aspects of the arts. He was a sculptor, artist and musician He also invented drawing machines that combined all of his creativities into one.He was also an accomplished guitarist, mandolinist, flautist and electronic soundscape creator. His work will move, display and speak for itself.

  2. It was easy ,if it sounds good, it is good , we were in the same groove but with a high standard, he was my guitar mentor and I hoped the student (me) could sometimes do him proud .Laughing out loud was also a prerequisite , On some stuff we did ,he drew it and I coloured it in both sound and vision.

  3. 'To witness and behold truly great art, that, in a moment, slowly, but surely, gestates and grows into something far greater than what the artist dared to first envisage'.....

This epitomises the work of Andy...unimaginable,inspirational,fluid, metamorphing, beautiful, succint, abstract, and far beyond the conventions of what is thought to be possible...thus in doing so, making the impossible seem plausible....the blurring of boundaries, between creator and the created..man and myth, art and the artist....as big as your imagination.... take in a plethora of the pioneering 'genius' of Andy Banks.
