Looking through pen and ink studies by Andy when we were in Paris, I was dashing around with my 35mm capturing everything on film and you were chilling, soaking in the sights and producing these brilliant studies.

Cyclone Systems are kindly sponsoring the web site for this project, the domain name has been purchased - andybanks.org and the `space' behind it is being built to accommodate the pages we wish to showcase. The primary reason for this journey I am undertaking with the help of mutual friends is to celebrate the creative and amazing full life of Andy, he was an extremely talented and kind gentleman, he could set his mind to any task and have the skills to fulfill them, a sculptor, fine artist and multi instrumentalist.

We have been looking at word press templates and I think we have the one to suit this project, Cyclone Systems do your magic!

Thank you!
Great news!

I have had confirmation of two more exhibitions in 2014:
Joint exhibition between Andy Banks and Karen Stansfield at the Bowery, Leeds and a solo exhibition for Karen Stansfield at West Yorkshire Print Workshop, Mirfield
Looking through Andy's note books and sketchbooks,  reading his journey into kinetic art/sculpture, brilliant notations and photographs of the prototype machines - fuel for thought - this is valuable information to devise the educational workshops I am to deliver at Batley Art Gallery this September and October in conjunction with his Retrospective Exhibition.
